Cowboy Bebop is just plain cool. It's perfect too. Perfect characters. Perfect soundtrack. Perfect story. Perfect animation. Perfect direction. So if you want to watch this anime, be prepared to relax and kick it back with some jazz, some Jeet Kune Do, and some badass space pirates/bounty hunters. "See you space cowboy."
Spike Spiegel, former gang member, now leads a relatively quiet life as a bounty hunter, that is, until he is forced to confront some past issues, including his nemesis, Vicious, his former fling, Faye, and a few other characters who seem to know a bit more than most about who Spike used to be.
As I've said, this anime is beautiful. For someone who has never watched this type of show, it may seem a bit episodic, but after a few episodes that shouldn't matter.
